PITTSBURGH, Dec. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Have you ever swept the floor only to find that most of the dirt and debris wound up skirting around the sides of the broom head and was pushed off to either side instead of straight ahead? You're now stuck sweeping the area again and again until you get the whole floor clean. It's quite a time-consuming process. To make life easier, an inventor from Philadelphia, Pa., developed the BROOM.
The device provides a more effective way to sweep. The broom head's design ensures that dirt and debris remain in front of the broom. This saves time and effort, and eliminates hassles and frustrations. The invention leaves the area cleaner than a conventional push broom. Additionally, it is producible in different sizes and colors.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "Whenever I grab the push broom and sweep the floor, there is always dirt and debris left behind," he said. "This is because, as I sweep, dirt and debris goes around the sides of the broom head and runs off to either side. To make the broom more effective, I invented this."
