LONDON, December 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
The Impact Investing World Forum (IIWF), world's leading community for the global impact investing professionals based in London, today announced 'Impact Investing World Forum Scholarships' for The 'Master of Studies (MSt) in Social Innovation' programme at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
Ahsan Zaman, founder of 'Impact Investing World Forum' and Cambridge Judge Business School alumnus, has shown his support for future students by announcing two new partial scholarships to the MSt in Social Innovation programme.
The 'Impact Investing World Forum Scholarships' will support two students in next two years.
"As an alumnus of a CJBS I have not only added tremendous value to my professional and personal growth, but also used the Judge Business School's vast network to explore endless new business opportunities," said Ahsan, who is also the Executive Director of London based publishing house WORLD MEDIA ONLINE LTD.
"It was whilst studying Executive MBA at CJBS (Cambridge Judge Business School), that I founded the Impact Investing World Forum (IIWF) in 2016. I therefore hope that the 'Impact Investing World Forum Scholarships' would encourage more alumni to take interest in school's efforts to support the exceptional and promising social innovators and bright students, who want to make a social impact globally."
Dr.Neil Stott, Director of the MSt Social Innovation programme commented, "Ahsan's timely and generous gift will enable promising students to study at Cambridge Judge Business School and go a long way to make a positive social impact on society, both locally and globally. I hope that Ahsan's vision to support future generations of social innovators will inspire generosity amongst our alumni networks, particularly as we have recently launched our programme in 2016."
The Master of Studies (MSt) in Social Innovation is a part-time graduate programme which welcomed its first cohort of 30 students in October 2016. The programme is delivered part-time over two years and includes online delivery and four residentials of a week each in Cambridge - three residentials in the first year and one residential in the second year.
