Megan Reyna

Megan Reyna

Megan joined the FOX34 News team in August 2016 as an associate producer. A year later she was promoted to reporter and producer.

Megan was born and raised in Houston and moved to Lubbock in 2013 to attend Texas Tech University. Megan has always had a passion for two things, news and dance. She grew up fascinated by the news since her father worked for the Houston Police Department and often made cameo appearances on camera. She began focusing on journalism her freshmen year in high school and was heavily involved in her school’s newscast and newspaper. She still made time for dance as a member and leader for her high school drill team.

Megan decided to attend Texas Tech University because she would be able to pursue both journalism and dance. She accomplished her goal and attained both degrees in four years. During her time at Texas Tech, she wrote for a student-run online news source, The HUB, and anchored/reported for their college newscast. She was also a part of several dance companies, including Flatland’s Dance Theatre, and performed throughout Lubbock.

Her career with FOX34 started the summer of 2016 as an intern on the News@Nine. Upon completing her internship she began working part-time for Good Day Lubbock. She is excited to continue her career here at FOX34. For story ideas or suggestions, feel free to contact Megan via email at mreyna@fox34.com or on Twitter. She would love to hear from you!
