An Amarillo-based neurosurgeon is being accused of sexually abusing a minor.

A lawsuit was filed Tuesday in Potter County District Court by attorney Kevin Glasheen on behalf of the minor.

It's alleged that Dr. Jeffrey D. Cone convinced the minor into letting him sexually molest and assault him when he was 15.

The minor was a patient of Cone's since he was nine months old and working with him since he was 15.

Cone owns and operates the Neurological Surgery clinic in Amarillo.

The plaintiffs are requesting a trial and asking for over $1 million in damages.
