Another warm afternoon Monday, rest of the week will be cold

LUBBOCK, Texas -

It does not feel like December with the temperatures we have across the area.

TONIGHT: Low 48, light breeze 10-18mph from the South/Southwest.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny high near 74. Wind will continue 10-18mph from the West, changing to the Northwest later in the afternoon/evening hours. Cold front will push across the area evening/overnight bringing some cold temperatures.

EXTENDED: Clouds increase Tuesday and start clearing out to the South Wednesday. No precipitation is expected, but some light precipitation could happen for the far Southern South Plains and Rolling Plains Wednesday. Another front will keep temperatures cold through Thursday, then slightly warmer  next weekend.

Join us tonight on the News at 9. Whitney will have an updated forecast for you starting at 5am on Good Day. We will keep you updated on FOX34s Facebook and Twitter page. Also, if you haven't done so already follow me by searching @BobbyJohnstonWX and liking my pages.
