The suspect wanted for the death of a man near 98th Street and Avenue V is now in custody.

Prince "Skrappy" Tariq Richards is accused of killing Peter Caballero, 20.

According to court documents, Caballero and some friends met the suspect to sell a Gucci belt and a small amount of marijuana. The friend told detectives the purchase was arranged on Facebook Messenger.

During the exchange, Caballero's friend says he was in the car with "Skrappy" and two other men. The friend says a gun was pointed at him and the belt and drugs were taken. He told his friends he was robbed and they ran after the car.

During the chase, police report Richards shot at them, striking Caballero. Caballero died at the hospital.
