The Lubbock Democratic Party is fielding a candidate for Justice of the Peace Precinct Two.

Daylan Flowers has a background in finance, serves on boards for Foster a Life, the Children's Advocacy Center and 100 Black Men of West Texas.

He says as a younger candidate, he's got the energy that Precinct 2 needs.

At least three Republicans are also running for this seat. Judge Jim Dulin is the incumbent.
