Demo work begins around Citizen's Tower

The city starts demolition work around Citizen's Tower.

It's part of bulldozing the parking garage to make way for surface parking.

The cost of repairing the garage would've pushed the project over its budget.

Lee Lewis Construction reports it'll have Citizen's Tower ready to open by May 2018 with a price tag of $42 million and some change.
