Man dies in Hockley County crash

A man died in a crash with a semi Monday in Hockley County.

DPS reports Ronny Jay Wheeler, 26, ran a stop sign on Cactus Road and was hit by a semi truck.

Wheeler was pronounced deceased at the hospital in Levelland. 

The driver of the semi was not injured.
