Police have identified a suspect accused of killing 20-year-old Peter Caballero Sunday night.

Prince Tariq Richards is wanted on a murder charge. He's considered armed and dangerous.

The victim in Sunday night’s shooting has been identified as 20-year-old Peter Caballero.

Caballero was on foot chasing a suspect in a blue passenger car who had reportedly just robbed his friend in the area of 2200 99th Street. At some point, multiple shots were fired out of the vehicle toward Caballero and another friend.

Caballero was struck and the vehicle fled the scene. He was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. His next of kin has been notified.

At this time, the suspect has not been located. Investigators with the LPD Persons Crimes Unit are still working to find out more about the suspect.

Police report a man has been killed after a social media trade led to a robbery and shooting near 98th & Ave. V.

Police say the suspect met with a male near 2200 99th Street for an exchange, possibly over an item posted on social media.  During the exchange, there was an altercation and the suspect fled in a blue passenger car.  The male and a friend began running after the suspect's car.

During the brief chase, the suspect fired shots from the car, wounding the friend.

A male gunshot victim was found near 98th & Ave. V, and was taken to the hospital.  He was later pronounced dead.

The suspect has not been identified and is still at-large.  If you know anything about the attack or what led up to it, call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.

UPDATE (9:45 p.m.)

Police report a fight over a social media trade led to a robbery and a shooting near 98th & Ave. V.

After the altercation over the reported exchange, the suspected shooter drove away, and the victim and a group of friends ran after him. During the brief chase, the suspected fired out of the car at his pursuers, wounding one of them.
