LUBBOCK, Texas -

Black Friday shopping isn't just a one day event for some shoppers. Most began their shopping on Wednesday and will continue on this coming up weekend. The South Plains Mall opened it's doors on Thanksgiving and remained open until mid night and reopened Friday morning.

"What we are seeing is a lot of stores are doing fun give-aways that you can only get in stores," said Ashley Knox, the Senior Marketing Manager for the South Plains Mall. "They also have fun scratch off tickets things like that."

Knox also said retailers approached Black Friday shopping in a more unique way and shoppers responded. Retailers at South Plains Mall will continue their sales and door busters through this weekend.
