Lubbock Meals on Wheels is partnering with Home Instead Senior Care and Adult Protective Services to provide comfort this holiday season.

The 'Be a Santa to a Senior' program provides socks, slippers and pajamas -- all donated.

"People in Lubbock are very generous, and they have responded by giving all kinds of gifts, thousands of items every year for seniors in the local community.," franchise owner Tracy Baugh said. "It's actually a national program and over two million items have been given for about 650,000 individuals that have been served across the nation since the program started"

Seniors are most likely to be left out at Christmas
