Saturday, November 11 is Veterans Day. To honor our veterans and active service members, many businesses are saying thank you by offering discounts and free meals.

Here is a list of some freebies: 

Friday:

Alamo Drafthouse: Free movie before 5PM on Friday

Denny's: From 5 a.m. to noon Friday, active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam

IHOP: Get a free stack of Red, White and Blue pancakes or a patriotic pancake combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday:

Applebee's: Pick one of seven FREE signature items with proof of valid military ID.

Buffalo Wild Wings Free Wings: Dine-in to claim one FREE small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries. 

Chili's: Select a FREE meal from their special menu. 

Cicis Pizza: Show a valid military ID and enjoy a FREE pizza buffet.

Cotton Patch Café: Choices include full-size chicken fried steak, or chicken fried chicken. Proof of service required.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: All veterans receive a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert.

Dunkin' Donuts: Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a FREE donut, no purchase necessary.

Freebirds World Burrito: “Buy one get one free’ special on any sized adult entrée. Must show military ID to receive discount.

Hooters: FREE meal from a select Veterans Day menu with proof of valid military ID card. 

Little Caesars Pizza: From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., veterans and active military members can receive a free $5 HOT-N-READY® Lunch Combo.

Outback Steakhouse: Enjoy a FREE Bloomin' Onion and non-alcoholic beverage with a valid military ID. 

Red Lobster: Score a FREE appetizer or dessert from their select Veterans Day menu. Proof of valid military identification required. 

Red Robin: Show some proof and enjoy a FREE Red's Tavern Double Burger with bottomless Steak Fries! 

TGI Fridays: Dine-in for a FREE lunch (up to $12) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., proof of valid military ID required. 

Lubbock Symphony Orchestra: Free tickets to Saturday night's performance.
