Lubbock vets receive cars as part of 'Keys to Progress' event

Christmas came early for two Lubbock vets.

Progressive Insurance donated vehicles as part of its "Keys to Progress" event.

"Progressive works with national auto body council annually to help find vehicles that can be recycled and refurbished for veterans that might have a need and finding the veterans we work with local charities that are associated with the military to help us find candidates," Progressive Claims Manager Laura Caffey said.  

The company is giving away 100 vehicles to veterans nationwide at 68 locations.
