Members of the Chamber of Commerce salute the work of the Lubbock delegation to the state legislature.

State Reps. John Frullo and Dustin Burrows and Sen. Charles Perry... all Republicans.

Senator Perry said he relishes the encouragement to continue the work.

"Well I think they are interested politics it's fun, it's engaging, it's adrenaline," Perry said. "I mean people get engaged in that ,but I think Lubbock is a tight knit community and it is engaged in a lot of these issues so it's good, it's good to have them here."

Representatives are pleased where they've gotten with the Texas Tech vet school, the state budget and bills that have been put in place.

Representatives Burrows and Frullo are up for re-election next year.
