Texas Tech School of Law hosts TX Supreme Court Justice

Texas Tech School of Law hosts Texas Supreme Court Justice Nathan L. Hecht, the featured speaker for the Huffman Distinguished Lecture Series.

He is the longest serving member of the Court, serving as chief justice since 2014.

During his time on the court he has been active in assuring those living below the poverty line have access to basic legal services.

    On September 15, at 11:05 PM, Lea County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an accident with injuries at US Highway 62/180 milepost 70 in Lea County. It was reported a pedestrian, later identified as Christopher Gomez, age 25 of Artesia, NM had wandered onto the roadway and was ran over by an unidentified crude oil truck hauler.
