Kindergartners are the spotlight of the South Plains Food Bank harvest. This year's theme is Feed Our Kids, Fuel Our Futures.

The Bank reports there are 29,000 children considered food insecure across the 29 counties it serves.

David Weaver, CEO of the Food Bank, says Roscoe Wilson students dressed up in costumes they think represents what the future may hold for them.

"It's a great chance to show off our friends at Roscoe Wilson but also to remind people that really when we invest in feeding children we're feeding their future and investing in their future as well," Weaver said.

The Food Bank also provides food to more than 57,000 people. The Harvest of Hope also shares success stories to encourage donations.
