LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Texas Tech women's tennis team wrapped up the team portion of its fall schedule during Sunday's Kansas Invitational at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
The Lady Raiders tallied five singles wins and four doubles victories on the weekend. Three of the four doubles wins came courtesy of Alex Angyalosy and Katelyn Jackson who registered a perfect 3-0 mark on the weekend.
Jackson and Gabriela Tenorio capped off the tournament with singles wins on Sunday over opponents from the event's host Kansas. Jackson claimed a pair of 6-2 set wins over Toran Ribes whereas Tenorio took care of Amber Policare in a three-set decision with a 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 victory.
The Lady Raiders start their spring schedule on January 13-15 when Texas Tech competes at the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
