Lubbock PD investigating July's fatal motorcycle crash

LUBBOCK, Texas -

LPD accident investigators are looking into what caused a motorcycle wreck that killed Albert Benavidez, 49, back in July. 

Investigators blocked traffic at North Indiana and Auburn to map out the scene.

The day of the crash, investigators reported he struck the driver's side door of a van turning onto Indiana.

The other victims involved sustained minor injuries.

Investigators reported Benavidez was wearing a helmet.
