Lubbock-Cooper defeated Frenship 41-9 to improve to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates had a great game from Eli Boyd who carried the ball 23 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns. LCP's defense created two turnovers including a strip sack from Jarrett Ware and a Jake Kirkpatrick interception to hold the Tigers to only one offensive touchdown. Head Coach Max Kattwinkel said this was the most complete game the Pirates have played this season.
