Auction items up for bid for Bayer Museum of Ag benefit

A Night for the Museum featuring Dr. Bo Brock, DVM, is sold out of tables and tickets, but people can still support the event and the Bayer Museum of Agriculture through the online auction.

All items are posted at PurpleWave.com.  This is the first year there has been an online auction so more people can participate in the benefit. Purple Wave, based out of Kansas, is helping the museum free of charge. It is also donating the 10% buyer’s fee back to the museum, which will help cover shipping costs.

All items in the auction have been donated by local businesses and individuals and you can find several items related to cotton, farming, and rural life, including a few artifacts out of the museum’s collection. The auction will begin closing at 8:00 pm on the night of the fundraiser, August 15. Those not in attendance can pick up their items at the Bayer Museum of Agriculture starting Wednesday, August 16.

The museum is located at 1121 Canyon Lake Drive in Mackenzie Park.
