Former Tech coach investigated by FBI

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Bob Knight, former Texas Tech and Indiana basketball coach, was the subject of an FBI investigation.

Agents were looking into allegations that he inappropriately touched four women visiting a spy agency in 2015.

Multiple reports indicated that Knight was a distinguished speaker at the National Geo-spatial Intelligence Agency when agents claimed he made suggestive comments, hugged a woman tightly around the chest and hit another on the butt.

Both the FBI and the Army pursued the investigation, even interviewing him at his home in Montana, but both declined to press charges last year.

Knight's lawyer said there's no credible evidence to support those claims and the FBI agents told their superiors there was no basis for further action period.

The FBI reported some employees at the spy agency had expressed concern with Knight's visit before the event.
