LUBBOCK, Texas -

Texas Tech regents discussed plans for expanding the TTU system.

TTU Health Sciences Center El Paso is currently looking to grow their class size.

President Richard Lange said the school is under a feasibility study to look into adding a dental school to West Texas.

"From here, we'll take those audacious goals and have specific objectives," Lange said. "For example, to study the increase in the number of medical schools, what facilities we need, what the educational requirements will be and what kind of students we want."

The entire estimated project cost for building new facilities at TTUHSC El Paso, including the dental school, is $321,500,000.
