House fire on 35th

LUBBOCK, Texas -

One resident was displaced after a Central Lubbock house fire.

The Lubbock Fire Rescue reported high winds contributed to the rapid spread of the fire from the exterior of a home on 35th near Avenue X to its attic.

Investigators said the blaze was accidental, caused by improper disposal of a cigarette.
