LPD responds to report of assault near Marsha Sharp

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Earlier this evening, LPD responded to an assault near 2500 Marsha Sharp that turned out to be a road rage incident.

Police reported that the two drivers stopped at a light and confronted each other. One male punched the other and drove away.

The male that was hit stayed on scene and spoke to police, but refused treatment from EMS.

There was no mention of a gun or any shots being fired.
