LUBBOCK, Texas -

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock is held its 12th annual Golf for Kids' Sake Tournament at the Rawls Course.

The tournament was organized by SERVPRO of Southwest Lubbock, which benefits the BBBS each year.

In 2017, SERVPRO has raised $50,000, bringing their overall total donations to more than a $25 million.

Executive Director Melissa Corley said, "The money that is raised from this event helps our agency to provide free services to the community. So we serve children 6 to eighteen years old, and we don't charge any fees for them to come get a mentor, and that's where the money goes."

If you'd like to become a mentor for kids, or to make a donation visit the BBBS website.
