Cafe J is the current iteration of restaurants evolved from the Continental Room which was on the 20th floor of the Metro Tower begun in 1976 which evolved into the Grapevine on the East side of 19th and University culminating in Cafe J's today. We are housed in the original St. Mary's Hospital and Clinic which was built in the 1930's.
As the ultimate destination restaurant in Lubbock, Cafe J has long maintained a singular place in West Texas cuisine and the arts.
