Due to the rain and clouds we had this morning temperatures were a little cooler today. Below is a look at some of the morning lows and afternoon highs from today as of 5pm. I will update them when they become final this evening.

Another round of showers and thunderstorms will move across the region this evening with some rain lasting overnight. The strongest storms will be capable of producing small hail, gusty wind and heavy rain. Click here for a look at the 24 hour rainfall totals from the West Texas Mesonet sites and click here for a breakdown of all the rainfall totals from the past 96 hours. You can keep an eye on the showers with our live streaming radar below.
Temperatures will get a little warmer to kick off the new week although the rain pattern stays the same. We will have a few isolated showers and thunderstorms form each afternoon with some more rain moving out of New Mexico possible overnight. Tuesday should be the last day that we see some rain as high pressure moves closer and we start to clear out. For the second half of the week it looks like we will have sunny afternoons with temperatures in the upper 90s and 100s.

I hope you had a great day! I will step you through the forecast tonight on FOX34 News Saturday and the News at Nine. Matt will be filling in for Christopher tomorrow.
