The new August 27 deadline applies to both FEMA registrations and SBA disaster loan applications for physical damage. According to FEMA, more than $306 million has flowed into Texas from grants and loans to help the state recover.
Gaines County businesses, private non-profit organizations, homeowners and renters whose property was damaged from storms that occurred from May 4 though June 22, are eligible to apply.
