Police: Victims of shooting in east Lubbock are teenagers

Police say the two victims who were shot Tuesday night at the Park Meadows Villas apartments are teenagers.

Lt. Ray Mendoza says Jaylon Brown, 19, and Brashodrick Dial, 13, are hospitalized with life threatening injuries.

Their conditions are unknown for security reasons.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired at the apartment complex located at 2502 Weber Drive and found the two victims.

A witness told FOX 34 she saw the bloody crime scene. Silena Green said, "I looked inside. He was laying there. Laying in the hallway just bloody and he had two big holes in his head. One on this side, one on that side. So I'm thinking the bullet went all the way through."

Green had a message for the 19-year-old's mother.

"Kiesha, I really feel sorry at this moment because I know how it is to lose some kids because I lost three to domestic violence and I just pray for you and hope J-Boe will be able to come back home," she said.

Police have not named any suspects and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Line by calling (806) 741-1000 or submitting a tip here.
