South Plains Food Bank gets help from Prosperity Bank

Prosperity Bank donated $20,000 to South Plains Food Bank after a successful catfish fry. Prosperity Bank's community crew presenting the donation to the non-profit that helps feed families across 20 west Texas counties. 

"Hunger never takes a vacation. The food stock we have to feed families drop really low during the summer," SPFB CEO David Weaver said. "Events like this help us have the resources that it takes to make sure that we have food for families during the summer."

The donation is expected to help serve roughly 80 thousand meals in the South Plains.
