WARM DAYS CONTINUE: The upper-level ridge across Texas isn't moving much next few days. It'll be centered over West Texas through the weekend, which means it'll be sunny and plenty warm. Average high this time of year is 93...it should be slightly warmer than that next few days.
There were a few isolated showers last night that made it east of the state line into the western South Plains. We could see an isolated storm near the state line today, but it's a slim chance. High today in Lubbock near 97, a little warmer to the east, wind S 10-15mph.
Mid to upper 90s are expected through Monday. The temperature will probably drop by a few degrees middle of next week. A front might make it into the region by middle of next week, but it's too early to know if it'll bring any rain.
Have a great Thursday. Rudy will have your updated forecast here later today.
