LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech duo Connor Curry and Carlos DiLaura took home top honors in the doubles bracket at the 2015 ITA UT-Arlington Summer Circuit on Monday at the UTA Tennis Center.
Curry would go ahead and add one more title to his name before leaving Arlington as he clinched the singles title as well.
The sophomore was a staple in the lineup for the Red Raiders throughout his rookie season, helping Texas Tech advance to its 14th NCAA tournament. Curry finished 11-17 overall individually and 7-7 in doubles play alongside senior captain Francisco Zambon.
The ITA Summer Circuit is currently made up of nine regional circuits (Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest, Central, Mountain, Texas, Northern California and Southern California) consisting of four consecutive open tournaments played during the month of July, leading up to the ITA/USTA National Summer Championships in Bloomington, Indiana in August.
