Another hot and sunny day, with temperatures again reaching the 90s across the board. Here's a look at some of our high temperatures today:
Tomorrow will be hot again and mostly sunny, but we do have a slight chance of some showers and storms developing late tomorrow afternoon and evening, primarily in our northern counties. Again, we could see some rain Tuesday and Wednesday, but the chance is only 20%, and that's highest in our northern counties, so most of us will likely remain dry. We can't, however, rule out a stray shower or storm anywhere across the South Plains. Any storms that do develop have the potential to dump some heavy rain, so watch out for any localized flooding. Temperatures will drop a few degrees thanks to some added cloud cover, but we'll still remain around average for this time of the year: 93°.
By the second half of the week, the ridge of high pressure, that we all know very well by now, will move closer to us once again. That means we return to sunshine and hot temperatures to end the week, going into next weekend.
