We climbed into the mid to upper 90s again today, with Seminole even reaching 101° this afternoon. Tonight, we'll remain mostly clear and mild, with lows in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Sunday will be another hot and sunny day. I'm forecasting 97° in Lubbock, with a few 100s possible again. Monday will remain very hot, but we've got a very slight chance of storms in the evening, continuing into Tuesday. It's only a 20% chance, and our northern counties have the best chance, so most of us will remain dry.
Beyond that, the ridge of high pressure will move westward, closer to us, meaning sunshine and hot temperatures will continue to end the week, into next weekend.
Our computer system is having trouble uploading weather graphics, so here's the seven day forecast:
Sunday 71/98, sunny
Monday 72/98, mostly sunny, 10% storms
Tuesday 71/94, mostly sunny, 20% storms
Wednesday 72/95, mostly sunny
Thursday 73/96, mostly sunny
Friday 73/96, sunny
Saturday 73/95, sunny
