We're entering a stretch of hot and dry weather, with plenty of sunshine forecast each day this week. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s each afternoon, with a few locations possibly reaching 100° off the Caprock. Lubbock would likely reach the triple digits if it weren't for all the rain recently, which has made our ground so wet. Overnight temperatures will remain mild, in the low 70s each night.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Dolores has formed off the south coast of Mexico. Computer models are hinting at moisture from the storm could work its way in to our area after next weekend. We'll have to keep an eye on that over the next several days.
