We again started off the morning with scattered showers across the region and ended up with similar temperatures as we had yesterday. Click here

Another round of showers and thunderstorms will move through the South Plains this evening with storms generally moving from southwest to northeast. While we do not expect any widespread severe weather, a few storms could become strong, producing large hail, strong wind gusts and heavy rain. You can keep an eye on the storms with our live streaming radar below.
A few showers could last into tomorrow morning, but then should end shortly after sunrise. We will stay under a partly cloudy sky tomorrow with just a slight chance for a few showers around the state line in the afternoon. High pressure will move overhead this weekend which will clear out our sky and warm our temperatures. Next week we will have some of the warmest temperatures of the year so far.
I hope you had a great day and have a great weekend! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Christopher will have all the forecast updates for you this weekend.
