Texas Tech's Rawls College of Business is already expanding.
The second phase of construction is well underway. It will add a three-story, 38,000 square foot west wing onto the existing building.
This project was part of the initial vision there was a lack of funding at the time of the Rawls construction.
$15 million later, Rawls is ready for phase two.
"It's a monumental event. We're seeing the growth that's come through the Rawls College of Business. We need to accommodate our students in that growth. We need to provide for them and this gives us the opportunity to do that," Rawls College of Business Dean Lance Nail said.
Phase two adds a computerized testing center and additional office space and tiered classrooms.
