No charges filed in Mayor Robertson gun incident

No criminal charges will be filed related to a reported disturbance involving Mayor Glen Robertson at his warehouse business, according to the district attorney's office.

A Texas Rangers investigation determined there was no criminal wrongdoing by either party, District Attorney Matt Powell said.

According to an LPD report, truck driver Daniel Gonzalez told officers someone displayed and pointed a gun at him on June 1 at Robertson Bonded Warehouse.

The DPS confirmed Robertson was the suspect and Texas Rangers handled the investigation to prevent the conflict of interest that would pose for LPD.
