Sunny and warm tomorrow, chance for storms at end of week

Even though we were under a sunny sky for most of the day our temperatures were not as warm today as yesterday. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

We will stay rain free tonight and tomorrow with near average temperatures expected both tomorrow morning and afternoon. Clouds will increase on Thursday and we will have a slight chance for storms late Thursday going into early Friday. Similar to what we have seen over the past couple of weeks we will be watching storms that form in the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico move down into the Panhandle and then eventually through the South Plains. This will be possible again late Friday into Saturday.

Temperatures will not be as warm to end out the week with highs in the upper 80s on both Friday and Saturday. High pressure will build back in over the weekend which will help clear us out and warm our temperatures to around average.

I hope you had a great day! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Matt will have a complete updated forecast for you tomorrow morning.
